Voters across New Jersey went to the polls Tuesday to decide who will succeed Gov. Chris Christie when he steps down in January at the end of his second term. In addition to choosing Democrat Phil Murphy over Republican Kim Guadagno for governor, Garden Staters voted for legislative, county and municipal officials.Voters also decided whether the state should issue $125 million in bonds for grants to public libraries, and if proceeds from environmental contamination cases should be dedicated to repairing or preserving natural resources. nj.com
