At least two dozen patients at a Rhode Island respiratory rehabilitation center were hospitalized Thursday night after a fire broke out at the facility, reports said.The blaze started on the third floor of Genesis Respiratory and Rehabilitation Center in Coventry at about 9 p.m. and was confined to one room, WLNE reported, citing fire officials.The facility’s sprinkler system helped extinguish the flames, but smoke still spread throughout the whole building, the report said.
