$60K couch stolen from LA furniture store in the middle of the night

A nearly $60,000 couch made famous by was stolen from a area furniture store after the business was broken into during the middle of the night.

The Mah Jong Sofa - valued at $58,000 - was grabbed by a thief from the Merit store in Beverlywood in the early hours of Monday morning.

Owner Paul Bearman told Los Angeles he has spent the days since the theft investigating after the sly thief cut the video feed on a camera outside the store.
