90s R'n'B singer Shanice, 51, diagnosed with breast cancer

90s R'n'B singer Shanice has revealed she was diagnosed with breast this year after skipping mammograms for eight years.

first revealed her stage one cancer diagnosis in September, and detailed how she had undergone a double mastectomy where a 1cm centimeter tumor was found in her breast.

Appearing on Good Morning America this week, the star said doctors first suspected she had a tumor in her breast eight years ago - it was later found to be a cyst, but the fear of mammograms stopped her getting the checks.
