An American tourist who had to be rescued from the mouth of Mount Vesuvius after he tumbled into the crater after trying to retrieve his cellphone has been pictured.Philip Carroll, 23, of , had hiked up the side of the volcano from the town of Ottaviano with two members of his family along a closed-off trail when he stopped at the 4,000-foot summit to memorialize his achievement.As he snapped the picture he lost his grip on his cellphone and it landed just inside the lip of the crater.
