As American workers are dealt increasing amounts of paid annual leave, a widening gap has emerged between how much they are paid to work and how much they actually work.The proportion of workers in the US that were offered sick leave around a decade ago was around 67 percent. But earlier this year it was closer to 80 percent. And the proportion offered family leave mas more than doubled from around 12 percent to 27 percent, according to data from the Department of Labor Statistics analyzed by the of Atlanta.
