A group of sex education workers in rural Appalachia have been inundated with threats after their work was reported on by a journalist for the Manhattan Institute.Christopher Rufo, who specialized in culture wars, on March 16 about the team behind Sexy Sex Ed, and highlighted their online 'Sexy Summer Camp' from last year.Rufo obtained their program, and wrote that the sessions for teenagers from 13 and above 'included lessons on “sex liberation,” “ exploration,” “BDSM,” “being a sex worker,” “self-managed abortions,” and “sexual activity while using licit and illicit drugs.” '
