Apple CEO Tim Cook insisted his firm has no plans to fall victim to tech wreck layoffs 'at the moment', as other online giants slash thousands of workers. Cook, 62, told culling his workforce would only be seen as a 'last resort', adding that it is 'not something we're talking about at this moment'. His remarks came as the tech giant reported a huge $24 billion profit in the second financial quarter of the fiscal year, alongside $95 billion in total revenue.
