Archaeologists have uncovered a number of broken statues of ancient Egyptian royalty at a temple near Cairo.These include Pharaoh Ramesses II, who was the most powerful and celebrated ruler of more than 3,000 years ago.The statues also depict Ramesses IX, Horemheb and Psamtik II, who reigned from 1126 BC to 1108 BC, 1323 BC to 1295 BC and 595 and 589 BC respectively.
