The National Archives slapped former President Tuesday for making 'false and misleading' claims about ex-presidents mishandling documents - including that the late President George H.W. Bush was personally storing files at a combined bowling alley and Chinese restaurant. 'The National Archives and Records Administration, in accordance with the Presidential Records Act, assumed physical and legal custody of the Presidential records from the administrations of , George W. Bush, , George H.W. Bush, and Ronald Reagan, when those presidents left office,' said a statement from the Archives.Those documents were securely moved to temporary facilies that NARA rented out at locations near where the presidents would build their libraries, the statement explained.
