A missing teen who turned up dead on a San Francisco street months ago might have been sexually assaulted around the time she died of a drug overdose, the city coroner recently revealed. Victorria Moran-Hidalgo, a 16-year-old who grew up in and out of the foster care system, was found unresponsive in the 600 block of Minna Street in the early morning hours of Feb. 18. Her death in San Francisco’s Tenderloin District, notorious for homelessness and rampant drug abuse, was initially investigated as a suspected overdose but under suspicious circumstances.
