A season 15 contestant from "The Bachelorette" has died at 29 years old after possibly suffering an overdose, multiple outlets confirmed Thursday.
Tyler Gwozdz appeared last year on the ABC reality show as a contender for Hannah Brown's affections. He was a graduate student in a psychology program, and according to his "Bachelorette" bio, worked as a sales manager.
After three weeks on the show and a one-on-one date with Brown, Gwozdz exited the show with no fanfare. The sudden departure was never explained. "Tyler G. had to leave, and that’s upsetting because I really enjoyed my date with him," Brown said at the time.
Gwozdz later emailed a statement to Refinery29 that simply read, "This was a decision that I came to with producers, and something that I’ve come to realize what is the best decision that could’ve been made."
