Belize rolls out the red carpet for William and Kate

and Kate Middleton have touched down in Belize to kickstart their whistle-stop tour of the Commonwealth - after their first stop had to be cancelled due to protests.

The cut a chic figure in a royal blue dress and matching purse, while the Duke looked smart in a grey suit and black tie as they received a warm official welcome at the international airport.

The royal couple were pictured meeting the Prime Minister of Belize Johnny Briceno and his wife Rossana at the Laing Building in Belize City, as they began their tour on behalf of the Queen to mark her Platinum Jubilee.
