Bengals plane made emergency diversion at JFK Airport in New York City

After officially becoming playoff bound, the homeward bound were forced to make an emergency landing at John F. Kennedy International Airport in .

The plane 'had a failing engine, so they landed at JFK and are changing planes,' said WLWT's Mark Slaughter.

Slaughter says a person on board the plane said the flight became, 'a little rough but it was okay! Landed safely.'
