Bernie Sanders reveals whether or not he's starting a third party

on Sunday slammed Democrats for lacking a vision for the future and revealed whether or not he's going to start a third political party.

Sanders, the Independent senator from , and Democratic Rep. have taken their 'Fighting Oligarchy' tour across the country. Their progressive push of Democrats have led to questions about whether they will split from the party.

'We're not trying to start a third party,' Sanders told NBC's Meet the Press. 'What we're trying to do is strengthen American democracy, where faith in both the Democratic and Republican parties right now is extremely low.'
