The owner of Best Showgirls in Vegas condemned the 'flawed' criminal justice system for freeing the man who killed one of her performers in a horrific attack on the Las Vegas Strip on Thursday. Cheryl Lowthrop said she was devastated to learn that her employee, Maris Mareen Digiovanni, 30, was one of the two people killed in Thursday's stabbing. Eight people in total were attacked, several of them showgirls. Yoni Barrios, 32, killed Digiovanni as well as Brent Allan Hallett, 47, as he ran down the famed street in broad daylight wielding a knife.
