The U.S. expelled from Washington this month 's second-ranking diplomat in the U.S., Minister Counselor Sergey Trepelkov, a State Department official revealed to the Associated Press on Thursday.The expulsion is unrelated to Russia's invasion of overnight, and is part of a long-running dispute between Washington and Moscow over embassy staffing.
