Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced Monday that the U.S. would be moving U.S. diplomats out of the U.S. embassy in Kyiv and positioning them in Lviv, near the Polish border amid warnings that a Russian invasion could come at any time. The move will put U.S. diplomats far to the south of where Putin is amassing thousands of troops in Belarus and hundreds of miles from where the U.S. says Putin has stationed a force of well over 100,000 troops. Blinken attributed the move to the 'dramatic acceleration in the buildup of Russian forces,' which continued over the weekend.
