President on Monday dismissed the idea that a massive autoworkers strike could happen in the coming weeks. In late August, the approximately 150,000 members of the United Auto Workers union voted in favor of a strike if an agreement couldn't be made with the Detroit Three automakers - Ford, General Motors and Stellantis. UAW President Shawn Fain has pitched a four-day work week and says workers deserve a 46 percent pay raise, because 'record profits mean record contracts.'
