President 's 'obvious cognitive decline' was the most underreported story of the year, a veteran CBS News reporter has claimed as she insists that more coverage could have changed the scope of the entire election'.

Jan Crawford, CBS' chief legal correspondent, blasted media that failed to cover his decline – mainly liberal outlets including The Washington Post - until the topic became 'undeniable' during his trainweck debate against .

Crawford, during the year-end correspondents roundtable on CBS' Face the Nation, was asked Sunday morning what the most 'undercovered and underreported' topic was this year.
