A 60 second ad during the Super Bowl was so unique – and so successful – that it crashed the app of the cryptocurrency exchange that aired it and poured millions towards buying and selling digital currency.US exchange Coinbase aired the ad which solely consisted of a QR code that bounced around the screen, much like a DVD loading screen from the early 2000s.When users scanned the QR code on their television with their phone, they were directed to Coinbase's website where all new users received $USD 15 ($20.98) worth of Bitcoin.
