Boy, 13, stabbed to death on bus in Staten Island, suspect in custody

A 13-year-old schoolboy lost his life after being stabbed to death while on a bus on Staten Island, New York.

The incident occurred on Friday afternoon just before 2:30pm near Hylan Boulevard and Littlefield Avenue in the Eltingville section of the borough.

The attacker got on the S78 bus and began yelling at the other teen before stabbing him in the chest three times. Both boys went to the same middle school, IS 7.
