Breakthrough after newborn was found abandoned in Texas dumpster

Houston police have announced a major breakthrough as they continue to investigate after a newborn baby boy wound up in a dumpster outside a taco shop.

Authorities have been probing the incident since first-responders with his umbilical cord still attached on Sunday.

As part of that investigation, officers have scrubbed through surveillance footage from the scene to identify who placed the newborn into a dumpster filled with trash and to track down any potential witnesses.
