British cardinal reveals Pope Leo's reaction upon being elected

A British cardinal involved in the secretive papal conclave has revealed how Pope XIV reacted upon being elected.

Cardinal Vincent Nichols, 79, the leader of the Roman Catholic Church in England and Wales, was one of 133 cardinals involved in the conclave and said ‘every single step was meticulously followed’.

And now that he is no longer sequestered from the outside world, Cardinal Nichols told MailOnline how former Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost reacted when asked if he accepted his position as leader of the Catholic Church.
