A British father was arrested for attempted murder on holiday - but his family have pleaded their innocence, saying he was not even in the country at the time. Thomas Nolan, 19, was detained after flying to with his wife Eileen Delaney and one-year-old son.Toronto police charged him over an alleged car-ramming attack in June - despite Ms Delaney's claims that the family did not go on holiday to Canada until August.
