A 35-year-old British diving instructor has been mauled to death by a great white shark in while training for a charity swim, in what was the first fatal attack of its kind in the waters off the city since the 1960s.Simon Nellist was attacked from below by the 13ft-long predator at Buchan Point near Little Bay about 500ft from the beach yesterday afternoon. His remains and pieces of a wetsuit were found in the water an hour later.Devastated friends revealed today that the 6ft 5in experienced ocean swimmer, who lived in the Sydney suburb of Wolli Creek but still had family in the UK, loved being in the water and was about to get married to his partner.
