LOS ANGELES – A California judge denied Jason Alexander’s bid to get out of jail after he was charged with stalking for crashing his ex-wife Britney Spears’ wedding, court records show. Alexander, who was married to the pop icon for 55 hours in January 2004, asked Ventura County Judge Catherine Voelker to lower his $100,000 bail or release him on his own recognizance during a Wednesday hearing, records say. Voelker denied the request, citing the severity of the charges, Alexander’s past criminal history and past instances where he failed to appear in court, court minutes show.
