Caitlin Clark and the Fever have lost their second game in a row, as the 2024 No. 1 Draft pick and her teammates were blown yet again - this time to the New York Liberty and reigning MVP Breanna Stewart - in her second contest.
In Indianapolis' most anticipated rookie debut since Peyton Manning in 1998, Clark did not deliver the expected performance in the Fever's 102-66 loss at home. For the second straight game, she struggled with foul trouble. The rookie finished with nine points, seven rebounds, six assists and three turnovers, none after the first quarter - a dramatic improvement over the 10 she had Tuesday night.
Clark, who showed signs of frustrations in the first half by throwing a towel onto the ground after being subbed, was 2 of 8 from the field and just 1 of 7 on 3-pointers.
