Dave Portnoy led the charge for TV networks to time their virtual scoreboards unhurriedly during the first round of the NCAA tournament and the networks obliged.

On Thursday, Portnoy and Dan Katz starred in DraftKings and Barstool Sports' live companion of the opening.

While watching the action, Katz called for networks to delay showing final scores to avoid spoiling results while tracking several games at once.
