Chicago mother dies from plastic surgery in the Dominican Republic

A woman died after undergoing plastic surgery in the Dominican Republic earlier this month and now her family is calling on the United States government to help investigate the death.

Sucretta Tolliver traveled down to the Caribbean country and underwent an operation on December 12, her daughter Mariah Price told NBC 5.

The mother-of-four passed away at a recovery home two days after the surgery.
