Footage of the former CEO of Chick-fil-A suggesting white people should shine black people's shoes from 2020 has resurfaced in the wake of the Christian company hiring a diversity officer. The shows Dan Cathy, son of Chick-fil-A founder S. Truett Cathy, getting down on his knees and shining the shoes of Lecrae Moore, a Black Christian rapper at an Atlanta church.While discussing the topic of repentance at a June 14 roundtable at Passion City Church, Cathy said that the world needs to have a sense of shame, embarrassment, and 'an apologetic heart.'
