More than four dozen abused chihuahuas recently rescued from a hoarder's home in Northern are now up for adoption. The 50 dogs were rescued from 'filthy conditions' in December at a man's home in North Livermore, a city located about 40 miles east of San Francisco. According to the Livermore Police Department, many of the dogs were found locked in crates without any food or water at the time of their rescue.
