Child deaths have spiked by a tenth to a 15-year high fueled by pandemic suicides, overdoses and homicides.Between 2019 and 2020, the mortality rate for ages 1 to 19 soared by 10.7 percent, and increased by an additional 8.3 percent the following year, according to a new study which analyzed figures.That is the highest increase for two consecutive years in the 50 years that the government has publicly released such figures, according to the published in the Journal of the American Medical Association in March.
