Chilling new 9/11 footage shows Saudi spy filming Capitol Hill

A disturbing video has come to light showing a man, believed to have ties to Al Qaeda terrorists, filming important landmarks in Washington a little over a year before the attacks.

In the video, shot in the summer of 1999, Omar al-Bayoumi walked around the nation's capital remarking on various buildings, including the Washington Monument, before stopping in front of the US Building and referring to 'a plan.'

The Capitol Building, one of the most recognizable symbols of American democracy, was long thought to be one of the possible targets in the terrorist strikes that killed nearly 3,000 people on September 11, 2001.
