Part of a Chinese rocket used to send military surveillance satellites into space has plunged back to Earth and disintegrated over .The second stage part of the Chang Zheng 2D 'Long March' rocket, which was launched on June 23 2022, came down over the Lone Star State on Wednesday.Defense officials told USNI the segment disintegrated as it hurtled back to Earth at around 17,000 miles per hour.
