Conservatives name their favorite for 2028 presidential run

It may be early days but Vice President is the clear frontrunner for the 2028 Republican nomination, according to a straw poll of published on Saturday.

Vance was the choice of 61 percent of attendees at the Conservative Political Action Conference when they were asked who they wanted to be the presidential nominee.

Former Trump strategist and conservative activist was a distant second with 12 percent.
