A police officer made a daring rescue after an unmanned boat came dangerously close to striking its operator, who had been thrown overboard just moments earlier.The wild and dangerous incident unfolded on Monday after the boater departed from Marina Jack in Sarasota. According to Sarasota Police, a larger vessel suddenly cut in front of the boater, prompting the man to overcorrect while attempting to navigate the wake before he lost control and was ejected from his boat.
