Children born to mothers who suffer a dangerous condition during pregnancy are more likely to die after birth and in adolescence, a study has found.Chinese researchers tracked 2.4million children born in a European country for about the first two decades of their lives.They included about 100,000 women who suffered from a hypertensive disorder in pregnancy (HDP) — a group of conditions such as pre-eclampsia, eclampsia and high blood pressure. Two-thirds had pre-eclampsia or eclampsia.
