All incoming flights to Philadelphia have been put on hold until 6 p.m. as more than 400 flights across the nation have been cancelled, and more than 4,000 have been delayed at the start of the Fourth of July weekend. Officials at the Philadelphia International Airport told travelers that all incoming flight to the hub are been held at their airport of origin until 6p.m., due to the weather, reported. Authorities said the predict similar instances to hit the East Coast amid sweltering weather hitting the high 80s and mid 90s before temperatures are expected to cool off in the night, with showers expected throughout the weekend.
