DeSantis vows to restore name of Fort Bragg base in North Carolina

Presidential hopeful Ron has declared that if he wins the White House he will restore the name of an army base in after it was changed by the US military due to its Confederate roots.

DeSantis made the controversial comments during his keynote speech in Greensboro at the North Carolina Party State Convention on Friday night.

The Governor told the crowd he looked forward 'to as President restoring the name of Fort Bragg to our great military base in Fayetteville, North Carolina.'
