Earthquakes rock West Texas as tremors are felt over 100 miles away

A powerful 5.4 magnitude tremor struck at 7.47pm local time, rattling streets and buildings.

Its epicenter was located about 35 miles south of Whites City, and was initially rated as a 5.3 magnitude tremor before being upgraded.
