Eight police officers involved in the June shooting of a 25-year-old black man are returning to work, Akron police chief announced on Tuesday, to help the city cope with a staffing shortage.Steve Mylett, chief of Akron police, told a press conference he knew bringing the officers back would be controversial, but insisted that it was better than letting the city go without essential services.'I recognize that this decision will have an impact. And there may be some community concern, but I didn't take this decision lightly,' Mylett said.
