As the West waits in fear for a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, Poland, Romania and other European allies are readying themselves to receive hundreds of thousands of refugees from their neighbor.On Tuesday, Romanian Defense Minister Vasile Dincu revealed Bucharest was willing to take in up to 500,000 displaced people in the event of a major conflict.“There are several estimates, but we could receive over 500,000 refugees, that is … the number for which we have prepared alongside the interior ministry and other institutions,” Dincu told Reuters.
