The former Louisville police detective who fired the fatal shot that killed is fighting to get his job back. Cosgrove was fired from his job in January 2021 after the Police Merit Board found that he was guilty of "failing to identify a target" as well as not using a body camera during the March 2020 raid.Cosgrove's attorney, Scott Miller, is alleging that there were numerous errors in the investigation that led to his client losing his job.
