Ex-NFL player given 30 years in prison for murdering his girlfriend

Former NFL player Kevin Ware Jr. has been sentenced to 30 years in prison after he murdered his girlfriend in 2021.

Ware, 41, was given the three-decade sentence after reaching a plea deal with the prosecution.

Ware only played for two years in the NFL, one with the then-Washington Redskins in 2003, and another with the in 2004.
