Former Raiders receiver Henry Ruggs III was back in a courtroom on Tuesday for the first time since being charged with drunk driving in the crash that killed 23-year-old Tina Tintor and her dog last November.Ruggs's defense team had hoped to persuade Justice Ann Zimmerman to dismiss the former NFL star's blood-alcohol tests as evidence, but were officially denied at Tuesday's hearing. His attorney, David Chesnoff, had argued that police had no probable cause to administer tests. The one-time University of star, who is charged with with driving under the influence and reckless driving, refused to take a field sobriety test at the scene of the November 2 crash, according to police. Tests conducted at University Medical Center of Southern Nevada two hours after the crash revealed Ruggs's blood-alcohol content to be 0.161 percent — roughly twice the legal limit of 0.08 percent.
