Police say the ex-U.S. soldier accused of murdering the daughter of a former lawmaker allegedly studied the sleeping patterns of the family living in the home and targeted the $6.5 million mansion because he believed it had a fallout shelter. Shannon Gilday, 23, did intense research before allegedly breaking into the home of former state representative Wesley Morgan, 71, on February 22 and shooting and killing his 32-year-old daughter, former Assistant Commonwealth Attorney Jordan Morgan, while she was in bed, according to police. Gilday's research into Kentucky homes that contained doomsday bunkers led him to Morgan's home in Richmond, Kentucky, that had an elaborate underground shelter, which Wesley Morgan, a , had built when became president, according to an arrest warrant.
