A Dallas family of an 18-year-old boy who died after being treated with a tainted IV bag is furious after being handed a $12,000 bill from the hospital. Jack A., whose family asked to withhold his last name, died in August after suffering from cardiac arrest during a routine sinus surgery at Baylor Scott and White's Surgicare in North Dallas. He, along with 11 other patients, is suspected to dying from IV bags that was allegedly tainted by anesthesiologist Dr. Raynaldo Ortiz Jr, 59.
