The Department of Education has reinstated nine previously nixed math textbooks that were banned because of references to and social justice issues after publishers scrubbed them of the problematic '' content. 'Publishers are aligning their instructional materials to state standards and removing "woke" content' - a statement posted to the department's website Thursday revealed.Those revisions, officials said, addressed content - such as bar graphs measuring racial prejudice and a portion titled 'What? Me? Racist?' - the state previously deemed to be 'not aligned with Florida standards, or which 'included prohibited topics and unsolicited strategies.'
