Fox & Friends star sobs as he dramatically quits sofa live on air

Fox & Friends host Steve Doocy got emotional as he announced he is leaving the flagship show's 'curvy couch' live on air.

Doocy, 68, announced Thursday morning that he was stepping back from his role and moving to to be a special correspondent, joking 'it is a great job, but the hours suck.'

He will now switch to three-day offsite reporting - and will be able to sleep in.
